DREAMLIGHT HOTEL FESTIVE TREE BY YUNI YOSHIDA & 130 ONE THIRTY
This year, we are delighted to unveil “DREAMLIGHT HOTEL,” a festive installation themed “A Hotel Within a Hotel,” created by art director Yuni Yoshida and design brand 130 (OneThirty). The installation will be on display in The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon lobby from November 20 to January 4, and in The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza lobby from November 21 to December 25.
"To me, hotels are deeply personal spaces—places that quietly accompany some of the most cherished moments in people’s lives. That is why, for this holiday season, I wanted to create a Christmas tree that would evoke a sense of warmth and wonder—one that lingers in the hearts of guests long after their visit.
The concept for this year’s tree is “a hotel within a hotel.” Subtle variations have been added to the trees displayed at the two EDITION hotels—The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza, and The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon. I hope these small variations serve as delightful little surprises and bring joy and playfulness to the guests.
Through this piece, I hope to reflect the EDITION’s unique blend of refinement and intimacy, and to offer guests a sensory experience that truly resonates on an emotional level."

This project was realized with the technical support and sponsorship of 130 (OneThirty), a next-generation design brand that combines sustainability and advanced technology through their Continuous Frame Construction method, from design and assembly to installation and dismantling. The materials used for the tree, PETG, recycled PET, and resin, contain approximately 20% pre-recycled content, while the remainder will be shredded and recycled after dismantling. The tree was created with sustainable reuse in mind, reflecting EDITION Hotels’ commitment to sustainability rather than being designed for disposal.
